Job Description

Building Engineer Plattsburgh, NY $36 - $42 / ph + OT & Benefits Monday - Friday Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Building Engineer to work across a great technological campus environment. Our client is looking for a Building Engineer with HVAC and building systems knowledge to join a team on a site, with some exciting opportunities to progress and learn As a company, they can offer career progression, up-skilling courses, as well as some of the best benefits in the industry. The successful candidate will need to be client facing and able to respond quickly to client requests and maintain a great relationship on site. This would be the ideal role for someone looking for that next step in their FM career and future progression!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service to equipment throughout the site. Diagnose and provide service to the boilers through the facility. Using building automations to monitor and control facility-wide systems, including HVAC, lighting, alarms, security access and cameras. Provide a multi-skilled maintenance engineer service, which covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical disciplines Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met Carry out modifications and installations when required Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard Liaise with client/management
Qualifications and Experience:
EPA Universal Minimum 3+ years working in a Building Engineer role A recognized qualification in HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing capacity Be flexible towards work & carry out duties that may not be specific to your trade If you are interested in this role as a Building engineer , please apply or reach out via email to jake.smith@fm-hvac.com
