We?re looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Saratoga Springs or Syracuse, NY. This position will primarily support our Aviation division, working on airport improvement projects throughout the Northeast. You don?t need previous aviation experience to be considered. We?re looking for someone with a solid civil design background who is interested in expanding into airport infrastructure. Experience with site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, pavement, or transportation projects would translate well into this role. Why Join Us?

MJ offers flexible schedules, generous paid time off, and a supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities Support the design of airport and civil infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast. Prepare plans for grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, pavement, roadways, and other airside and landside improvements. Develop engineering calculations, reports, specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates. Prepare and revise project drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, planners, clients, contractors, and subconsultants. Complete site visits, field investigations, and seasonal construction observation as needed. Review shop drawings, submittals, and requests for information. Complete assigned work within established project schedules and budgets. Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Civil Engineering. Approximately 3?5 years of civil engineering or infrastructure-design experience. EIT certification preferred. Currently working toward Professional Engineer licensure. Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Revit experience is a plus. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a project team. Valid driver?s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed. Background check required
