Junior Civil Engineer We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Junior Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Akron. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will work closely with our experienced engineers to assist in the planning, design, and construction of various civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits and surveys to collect data and analyze site conditions
• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings and designs using AutoCAD and other software programs
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop project plans, specifications, and estimates
• Conduct quality control checks on construction materials and workmanship
• Monitor progress of construction projects and provide regular updates to senior engineers
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering software programs
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or work experience in civil engineering or related field is a plus
• Experience with site inspections and surveying techniques
• Familiarity with environmental regulations
