Summary:

This job description reflects potential openings for the Summer/Fall 2026 Co-op/Internship Session. L-H Battery Company will offer both single and multi-semester co-ops and internships. College students must apply to the requisition pertaining to their major and semester of interest.

Responsibilities:

• Leading or under direction of a senior engineer: o Analysis of existing trusses for potential reinforcement o Verification of field conditions o Planning and overseeing summer pavement activities o Engineering project support o Project punch list development o Utilities drawing, development and labeling o General facilities department support o Construction projects and construction verification o Trouble shooting reports o Tracking and analyzing roof leaks o Risk analysis o Supporting SRP/CESS/Hot Oil Boilers/Environmental Equipment Operation o All safety replated areas o All other asigned duties

Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• General Engineering Coursework
• Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher (You will be required to provide your current transcript)
• Class status- Sophomore (by credit hour) or above
• Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.
• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program studying Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Ability to provide own transportation to and from work each day.
