POSITION SUMMARY
- The Factory Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership by identifying, developing and executing capital projects for the factory.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preliminary Project Development including Charter development
- 45%•+ Assist in development of pre-project approval documents including project charter, project management plan, project kick start, estimate and milestone schedule creation.
- Project Execution support and facilitation
- 30%•+ Direct and execute installation, construction, and commissioning of assigned projects.
- Administrative / Business support
- 15%•+ Monitor work output from less senior engineers on the project team as assigned by the department manager.

- 10%•+ Ensure that the highest principles of ethical conduct on behalf of the community, consumer, company, and the engineering profession are adhered to and that all dealings are maintained within a competitive and fair environment and above reproach.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL
- + Bachelors Degree required; Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- + 2•3 years of experience preferred; experience in a technical field in a manufacturing facility, ideally in food/beverage manufacturing strongly preferred + Project Management experience 2+ years, leading on projects up to $3 million.
