We serve primarily federal clients such as the US Air Force, GSA, Air National Guard, and Coast Guard, operating within a five-hour radius of our corporate office. Job Summary We are seeking motivated and energetic Project Engineering Interns to join our dynamic team. These paid internships offer an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction project management, quality control, site supervision, safety, and engineering. As a key support member of our project teams, you will assist with various technical and coordination tasks that drive successful project execution from start to finish. Duties Support project teams with scheduling, documentation, and technical tasks using construction management software such as ProCore Contribute to project coordination efforts on active construction sites at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio by tracking progress and maintaining communication among stakeholders Help prepare and update submittals, logs, reports, and project schedules using Primavera P6, Procore, and MS Office Suite to ensure timely completion of milestones Participate in project meetings and site visits to gain construction site experience and observe safety protocols firsthand Collaborate with project managers and quality control managers on document control, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change order processing Skills Basic understanding of construction and contract administration processes Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, subcontractors, and clients Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated interest, coursework, and/or experience in construction management, engineering, or related fields is preferred Schedule Normal work hours are flexible and fall between 6am and 4pm Monday through Friday We are willing to schedule around other jobs and class schedules Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week required, maximum of 40 hours per week available Our hope is that interns stay on in full-time permanent positions upon completion of the internship Work Conditions and Benefits Internship work is located on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio Interns will spend time in both the field office and on construction sites (both indoors and outdoors) Eligible full-time employees are offered benefits including health insurance, 401k, profit sharing, and more Pay is negotiable based upon experience, education, and skills Must pass a pre-employment drug test and federal background check Must be 18 years or older to apply Join us at Dawn Incorporated to kickstart your career in construction!
