Job Description

We are currently looking for a team focused and dedicated Structural Engineer to join our Northwest team. As a member of our team, you will actively be working with our network of structural engineers responsible for conventional design and design/build projects for water and wastewater clients. You'll be challenged with leading and designing facilities such as water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities for water and wastewater plants and conveyance and storage systems. This role will require you to lead the development of project specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings and technical specifications with the support of local and national experts. - Minimum 10 years of experience working as a structural engineer
- Professional Engineer, (P.E.) license
- Structural Engineer, (S.E.), or eligible to obtain license through reciprocity within six (6) months of hire is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a structural engineering emphasis; master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
- Alternatively heavy civil (dams and hydro-electric), industrial or mining experience will be considered
- Construction phase support services for the types of projects listed above
- Experience working in multi-discipline project teams
- Team oriented with strong capability to learn, mentor, and work independently while managing time and budget
- Experience with structural design and analysis software (STAAD.PRO, TEDDS, SAP2000, RAM Elements, RAM Structural System, Mathcad)
- Experience with office programs (WORD, EXCEL, OneNote, Teams) and review software (Bluebeam)
