Moore Excavation Inc is seeking a Heavy/Civil
PROJECT ENGINEER
to work side by side with various project managers, and supervisory personnel. The right candidate will be an upbeat, positive, and outgoing individual that can help our team in the preparation of project estimates, as well as the management, administration and delivery of road construction, underground utility, site development and various civil construction related projects, with opportunity for advancement. Knowledge of estimating and management of heavy/civil construction projects including excavation, grading, underground utilities, road/highway construction, and structures preferred. Knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Project, etc.) as well as industry specific applications such as HCSS Heavy Bid; AGTEK; AutoCAD; BlueBeam; etc. preferred. Knowledge of construction field operations, financial management, and general business management preferred. Strong organizational, decision-making, and communication skills required. BA/BS Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience preferred. Project Managers, Project Engineers and Superintendents work together to maintain the following: Setting up initial contracts, Produce, review, track, and forward submittals, ASI's, CCD's, CO's, and RFI's, Scheduling and procurement of materials, Obtain local jurisdiction permitting, Coordinate, attend, and follow up on weekly owner/ internal meetings Working for MEI you'll be provided the following: Steady employment Medical/Dental/Vision Life Insurance Generous paid vacation Paid sick time (7) Paid holidays Join our growing team at The MEI Group.
