Summary Launch Your Civil Engineering Career with Anderson Perry At Anderson Perry & Associates, Inc. (AP), we believe the future of our profession starts with investing in the next generation of engineers. As a civil engineering intern, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced project managers and engineering professionals on meaningful infrastructure projects that serve communities throughout the Pacific Northwest. This internship offers exposure to a broad range of civil engineering disciplines along with planning, survey, permitting, and construction administration. You'll have the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects while developing technical and professional skills that will help shape your future career. Responsibilities What You'll Do As a member of our project team, you may:

  • Assist with the design of municipal water, wastewater, water resources, utility, site development, and transportation projects
  • Support civil engineers in preparing technical studies, reports, construction cost estimates, design drawings, and project specifications
  • Participate in project permitting and construction engineering activities
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery efforts
  • Contribute to engineering analyses, documentation, and project development from concept through construction
  • Perform field and office-related engineering tasks under the guidance of experienced professionals
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited civil engineering program
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments Preferred Qualifications
  • Junior standing or higher in a civil engineering program
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and willingness to learn
  • Interest in serving communities throughout Oregon and Washington Disclaimers
