Monday through Friday This is a direct hire position. Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join a growing engineering and manufacturing team in Tualatin. This role will focus on structural calculations, engineering analysis, and stamped drawing packages for highly specialized industrial and structural projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with finite element analysis (FEA), structural design, and working collaboratively across engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while working on high-performance structural systems in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce and stamp structural calculation and drawing packages Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations for complex projects Develop FEA models and generate engineering performance reports Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and installation teams Assist with preliminary engineering concepts for quoting and project planning Ensure structural and dynamic performance requirements are achieved Support inspections and verify compliance with engineering intent Mentor junior engineers and support technical development within the team Maintain organized engineering documentation and records
Qualifications:
Oregon Civil/Mechanical Professional Engineer license is mandatory California Professional Engineer license (or the ability to obtain one in six months) is required Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) required Concrete and structural steel knowledge highly preferred Strong structural engineering background Experience with seismic or vibration analysis is a plus Familiarity with structural engineering software such as RISA or similar programs preferred Ability to solve complex engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required 5+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred
