Job Description

Performs structural engineering design and analysis for steel and concrete structures supporting large-scale power generation and heavy industrial projects from conceptual design through construction. Job Requirements U.S. citizenship required. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience. Extensive experience with structural steel and concrete design. Experience supporting large-scale power generation and/or heavy industrial projects. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. Demonstrated progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and/or 3D CAD platforms. Experience with Bluebeam, RISA, Navisworks, STAAD, SPMats, and Enercalc. Knowledge of structural engineering principles, applicable building codes, and industry standards. Preferred Skills Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. Experience supporting structural engineering projects through construction. Experience with constructability reviews, cost evaluations, and project risk assessments. Job Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures. Develop structural engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and material take-offs. Support projects from conceptual design through construction. Apply applicable building codes, engineering standards, and design criteria. Coordinate structural designs with multidisciplinary engineering disciplines. Review designs for constructability and compliance with project requirements. Evaluate structural design alternatives, project costs, and technical risks. Coordinate technical requirements with customers, suppliers, and contractors. Review engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation. Provide structural engineering guidance throughout project execution.
