Job Description
ResourceTek is the Human Capital subsidiary of an ENR ranked, multi-discipline Engineering firm providing technical services to industry and government in all areas of Engineering, Construction, and a broad range of other Technical disciplines. We are currently seeking a Construction Field Engineer (Owners Rep Capacity) to support multiple greenfield and brownfield industrial and civil construction projects for our client, a leading steel manufacturer, and supplier to the oil and gas industry. This project assignment will be based in Koppel, PA and will work directly with our client's construction project management team and vendors to provide leadership and administration. Salary $85,000-$120,000 Plus Bonus In this role, the selected candidate will: Oversee designated portions of a large greenfield and brownfield project in an Owner's Rep capacity. Responsible for administering all site-related duties; project safety, scope of work, schedule, cost estimate, cost reports, project staffing, project team performance, construction, invoicing, and quality plan Plans, directs, and documents construction vendor assignments and activities on the project. Ability to plan, organize and direct a diverse team of vendors and internal personnel Qualifications Demonstrated strong knowledge of industry standards and design criteria within the industrial and civil construction field. Knowledge of proposals and bid processes. Proficient technical ability and awareness Proficient knowledge of project engineering processes and procedures Proficient execution planning skills Strong knowledge of HSE procedures and practices Strong in organizing and managing complex construction activities. Working knowledge of project control systems. Good verbal and written communication skills, thorough documentation skills Understands contract terms. Focuses on EPC results. Requires basic knowledge of administrative practices and company standards. The candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% Job Requirements BS or equivalent experience in the industrial construction field with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing various functions with an emphasis on heavy industrial facilities Familiar with US construction codes and standards Proficient in MS Office suite. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project. Intermediate-level knowledge of computer applications and other engineering tools.
