Job Description

We are hiring a Structural Engineer Project Manager for our structural engineering teams in our York office. This role involves overseeing the technical design aspects of structural projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring our services' timely, budget-conscious delivery. Our structural engineering team excels in designing various frameworks, including steel-framed industrial platforms in food and production facilities to complex multi-story buildings. You will be pivotal in coordinating with internal teams, other design professionals, and project owners, providing seamless integration and execution of structural components.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee structural engineering projects from conception through completion.
  • Perform detailed analysis and design of structural systems using various materials, adhering to current building codes.
  • Develop comprehensive construction drawings and documentation.
  • Mentor and lead project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and project success.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in structural engineering.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis, design, and documentation.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Revit, Bluebeam, and other structural design or BIM software.
