In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating and overseeing various phases of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality. You will drive project success through effective planning, resource management, and collaboration with diverse teams. Responsibilities:

Execution of projects in the sense of customer-oriented development for decorative parts within the automobile range in accordance with the Novem quality policies. Execution of basic development projects. Development from parts, processes and surfaces for production readiness.

In own area of responsibility:

Responsibility for safe working, environmental protection and energy management. Guarantee schedules are on courses for project. Ensure correct content for submitted technical quotations. Updates of project status and punctual information provided to superiors. Supervision of project. Budget responsibility for the transferred projects (at planned and approved operational sequence). Assure compliance with Novem Quality Policy & Guidelines and the procedures of the IATF based Management System. Assure compliance with Novem Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the Novem USA safety and environmental health manual. Meet all relevant legal, customer and group requirements for area of responsibility. Focus on personal continuous improvement. Meet all reporting requirements within the group and Novem North America. Assure quality of all relevant SAP master data. Consistent contact with the relevant central functions of the Novem Group. Maintain appropriate records and files, preferably electronically. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the area of responsibility Total responsibility for the coordination between Novem, customer, and subcontractor. Project support from the generation of an offer to the serial transmission and later modification. Manage the character of the project. Preparation of decisions for the management of the project. Provide technical support during the offer period. Analysis and fulfillment of customer technical requirements. Provide and update the project plans. Cooperation in project-related principle development. Provide feasibility information. Provide and update development and part histories. Organize and prepare project discussions Responsible for execution as well as monitoring of dates. Support program management team in all technical questions. Coordination of tools for procured parts and releases with the quality department. Provide construction offers in co-operation with CAD department. Realization of prototype parts with prototype shop and subcontractor. Cost responsibility for tools and parts. Knowledge of customer systems. Provide documented, comprehensible development of procedures for the deformation technique and surface processing. Provide technical releases of the customers' achievements. All other additional tasks and duties assigned by superior. Skills Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively through time management strategies. Knowledge of contracts, schematics, project scheduling methodologies, and management principles. Effective communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders at all levels. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise execution of plans. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or materials engineering required.

Experience:

3 years of experience in automotive industry is preferred. Injection molding and hard plastics experience highly preferred.
