Entry-Level Structural Engineer

As an Entry-Level Structural Engineer, you will work with multi-discipline project teams in developing a range of engineering solutions from initial concepts to detailed design development and through construction. This is a diverse role that will involve your contributions and insight into the effective delivery of the department's current and future portfolio of projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:+ Develop and strengthen analytical and design skills.+ Assist with engineering design tasks under the guidance of experienced engineers.+ Prepare designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematics, and final working drawings.+ Collect, organize, and analyze data to support engineering decisions.+ Utilize engineering software to solve basic technical problems.+ Contribute to project work while adhering to established budgets and schedules.

- Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- + Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field. + Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- + Academic track with structural engineering concentration is highly desirable.
AASHTO, IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318, ACI
530, NDS, etc. + Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. + Master of Science in Structural Engineering or related field is a plus.- Additional Information

- _To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment._
- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $75000 to $85000.
