Remote Geotechnical Design Engineer•U.S. Based (Full-Time)

Fully Remote with Flexible Hours About the Role We are seeking a motivated Geotechnical Design Engineer to support the continued expansion of innovative ground improvement and foundation system solutions across the Midwest. In this role, you will provide geotechnical analysis, design support, and technical guidance for a diverse range of commercial, industrial, transportation, and infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who wants to combine technical depth with client interaction, all within a high‑energy, innovation‑driven environment-without the constraints of a large corporate structure. Key Responsibilities Perform geotechnical analysis and design for ground improvement and foundation systems. Analyze soil data, develop design recommendations, and prepare technical calculations. Support project teams during feasibility assessments, proposal development, and solution optimization. Collaborate with contractors, owners, and engineering partners to implement effective geotechnical solutions. Prepare detailed design packages, reports, and engineering documentation. Provide technical support during construction, including review of field conditions and design adjustments. Engage in continuous learning regarding new products, methods, and technologies in geotechnical engineering. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering; Master's degree preferred. 2-5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience. FE or PE licensure (or ability to obtain PE within a reasonable timeframe). Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, settlement analysis, and geotechnical modeling software. Excellent communication skills and comfort working with contractors and project stakeholders. Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
