Provide technical oversight of maintenance capital projects, including cost and budget estimating, material bid specifications, and technical assistance during construction and commissioning. Make sound technical judgments that are generally accepted as accurate and feasible. Identify project risks, exposures, and opportunities that may impact project success. Facilitate communication forums and issue reports on project status and health to management. Coordinate with external agencies for project development, implementation, and completion, including certification filings and technical responses. Contribute to strategies and decisions regarding project execution, contractor selection, and performance. Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in engineering. 4+ years of experience in the oil or gas transmission sector or a related field. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated proficiency working with office computer applications such as Microsoft Office Products. Working Conditions:
Office environment (75%) with moderate travel (20-25%) to field sites or other office locations within the United States. Compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements (DOT, EPA) is essential. Physical requirements:
Includes but is not limited to balancing, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying/lifting 25 lbs., grasping, kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual and hearing acuity. Mental requirements:
Include but are not limited to understanding and applying instructions, solving complex problems, organizing and prioritizing work, making decisions with moderate impact, composing reports and correspondence, and communicating effectively via phone and in person. Benefits:
