Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Land Development Civil Engineer to join our team and drive innovative land development projects from concept through completion. In this role, you will be responsible for designing civil engineering aspects of land development initiatives, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Your expertise will help shape sustainable communities by developing efficient site layouts, infrastructure systems, and construction plans. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, utilize cutting-edge technology, and deliver impactful projects that enhance urban environments. Responsibilities Design of land development projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design using AutoCAD, Civil 3D. Prepare technical reports, construction schematics, system designs, and specifications with precision using software such as HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS, and technical writing best practices. Collaborate with geotechnical engineers on soil analysis and foundation design; work closely with water treatment and wastewater specialists for infrastructure integration. Utilize GIS, mapping, and land surveying data management to support project planning. Manage project documentation through Bluebeam or similar digital tools; facilitate communication among stakeholders via schematics, drawings, and progress reports. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; EI license preferred. Proven experience in land development civil engineering projects with a strong understanding of system design principles. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other relevant software tools. Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate complex ideas effectively through technical writing. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
