Project Engineer - San Francisco Bay Area Milroy Construction | Mountain View, CA Milroy Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing Bay Area team. This role offers a flexible schedule and weekly opportunities to work from home.

The Role :
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery from planning through completion. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in construction management, engineering, or architecture, as well as those currently working as field engineers or project engineers.
Responsibilities include:
Project Planning:
Support project managers in developing project plans, budgets, and schedules.
Design & Engineering:
Review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
Resource Allocation:
Assist with labor, equipment, and material management.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor construction to meet design standards, safety codes, and regulations.
Cost Management:
Track expenses and support budget control.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records, including drawings, change orders, and logs.
Subcontractor Coordination:
Manage procurement, scheduling, and subcontractor performance.
Risk Management:
Identify risks and help mitigate potential delays or cost overruns.
Communication:
Facilitate collaboration among project stakeholders.
Problem Solving:
Resolve technical challenges during construction.
Procurement:
Manage material and equipment purchasing.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to building codes, zoning, and environmental requirements.
Health & Safety:
Promote and enforce safety protocols.
Schedule Management:
Track milestones and ensure deadlines are met.
Reporting:
Provide regular updates on progress, costs, and key metrics. Qualifications Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (accredited program). Prior experience as a Field Engineer, Project Coordinator, or Assistant Project Manager. Construction industry experience or internships preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Tech-savvy and comfortable with construction software and digital tools. Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.

$90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
