Type:
full-time Fardig Construction Co., Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer to support an onsite team managing medical office & acute care projects. The field office is located in Mountain View, CA. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development & management of project(s). Assist in preparing, scoping documents, instructions to bidders and soliciting proposals from Trade Partners. Process contract documents within project management software. Assist in coordinating & managing onsite vendors & trade partners. Manage the RFI & submittal review process. Coordinate field issues between trade partners and design professionals. Update & distribute documents within the project management software. Manage the interim life safety measures and infection control processes with the appropriate hospital departments. Assist in the preparation and execution of the project closeout process. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering recommended. 1 - 3 years construction project experience recommended. Strong communication skills. General knowledge of construction principles and building systems. Proven commitment to safety and building relationships with the Owner. Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office Applications, Bluebeam, Procore, Trimble and Plan Grid.
