40.0 Responsibilities Support capital projects at wind farms across the region, primarily in Southwest Minnesota, with sites throughout MN, SD, and nearby areas. Manage a portfolio of approximately a dozen projects per year, overseeing the entire project lifecycle at wind facilities. Plan and schedule capital projects at wind farms. Order equipment and coordinate with contractors. Communicate and collaborate with site Operations & Maintenance teams. Perform limited research and development to select optimal equipment options. Manage a multiyear (5-year) project portfolio, including budgeting and forecasting. Ensure quality, adherence to schedule, and control costs. Travel during construction windows to oversee installations, as needed. Engage in desk-based planning and scheduling, including opening and planning work orders. Coordinate schedules and field visits with contractors. Work with O&M teams to align priorities. Research equipment options and document decisions. Develop and manage budgets and forecast project portfolios. Occasionally visit sites during construction to oversee work. Requirements Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical preferred; other disciplines considered), ideally from an ABET-accredited program Project management experience PMP certification (nice to have) PE license (nice to have) Renewables experience, especially wind energy Strong communication skills, critical due to multisite coordination Ability to work effectively with O&M teams Independent problem solving and ownership Approximately 3-7 years of relevant experience Strong renewables project management background considered, even without a degree (engineering degree highly preferred, not required) System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
