Project Engineer - Structural

With over 33 years of experience, the company has contributed to major projects across multiple states and countries, serving both government agencies and private clients as a Prime and Subconsultant. Overview VN Engineers is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our Structural Inspection Team . This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful infrastructure projects across the East Coast, supporting the inspection, evaluation, and maintenance of bridges and transportation structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support engineering analysis and technical development for structural inspection and evaluation projects Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Review engineering plans, calculations, and specifications Coordinate with cross-discipline teams including project managers, clients, and contractors Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and efficiency Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred) 5+ years of relevant engineering experience Professional Engineer ( PE ) license required Bridge Inspection Team Leader Experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Bridge Inspection Experience including up-to-date NHI certifications Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools (LARSA, MIDAS, CSi Bridge, MDX, Bentely Product Line, etc.)

Pay:

$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
