Job Description

Remote Design Engineer - PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings) We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with a strong background in Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) to join our growing team. This is a flexible opportunity that allows candidates to work fully remote or relocate to one of our office locations if preferred. The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of PEMB design experience, a strong understanding of structural steel systems, and an active PE license. Responsibilities Design and engineer PEMB structures for commercial, industrial, and manufacturing projects Review project specifications, drawings, and structural requirements Coordinate with project managers, detailers, estimators, and customers Ensure designs meet applicable codes, safety standards, and project requirements Assist with engineering calculations, connection design, and project optimization Support fabrication and field teams as needed throughout project execution Qualifications 5-10+ years of PEMB design engineering experience required Active PE license required Strong knowledge of structural steel and metal building systems Experience with PEMB engineering/design software preferred Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $150,000 depending on experience Remote flexibility or relocation opportunity Health insurance Strong 401(k) matching program PTO and vacation Individual performance-based bonus opportunities Long-term growth potential within the organization - Director of Engineering Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
