An established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer / Project Coordinator to join its growing structural team in Toledo. Role Overview This position offers a balanced blend of technical structural design and project coordination, making it ideal for an experienced engineer looking to step into a more influential role within project delivery. You will work across a broad range of projects including commercial buildings, municipal infrastructure, industrial facilities, and specialty structures, while also supporting coordination between internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Structural Engineering Design Analyse and design structural systems using steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber, and prestressed concrete Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications in line with US codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI) Support development of efficient and practical structural solutions across different project types Project Coordination & Delivery Assist with project scheduling, deliverable tracking, and internal coordination Act as a key point of contact between engineers, architects, contractors, and clients Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and multidisciplinary project discussions Support proposal writing, scope definition, and fee development Client & Stakeholder Engagement Communicate effectively with clients and project teams Help manage expectations around scope, timelines, and deliverables Field & Site Work Conduct site visits and structural assessments as required Document existing conditions and support construction-phase activities Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) 8-12 years' experience within structural engineering consulting Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain) Strong knowledge of US building codes and design standards Experience with structural analysis software (RISA, RAM, Tedds or similar) Familiarity with BIM environments (Revit preferred) Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to manage multiple priorities across both technical and project responsibilities What Makes This Opportunity Unique Diverse Project Exposure
