Job Description

Help Build the Future of an Employee-Owned Engineering Firm RMG Engineers is a 100% employee-owned Colorado engineering firm with more than 40 years of experience serving residential and commercial clients throughout the Front Range. We are seeking an experienced Structural Professional Engineer (PE) to join our team in Windsor, Denver/Englewood, or Colorado Springs . This is more than a production engineering position. RMG is investing in the continued growth of our structural practice, and we are looking for an engineer who wants technical responsibility, direct client interaction, opportunities to mentor other engineers, and a meaningful role in the future of the department. For the right candidate, this position offers significant opportunity for professional growth and leadership within an established, employee-owned engineering firm. What You'll Do As a Structural PE with RMG, you will: Lead structural analysis and design for residential and commercial projects. Serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects. Prepare, review, and seal structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports. Manage projects from initial scope through design and construction. Work directly with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Conduct structural field observations and provide construction administration support. Review work prepared by staff engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship. Help improve design processes, quality standards, and project delivery. Participate in client development and relationship management as appropriate.
What We're Looking For Required/Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. Active Professional Engineer license with the ability to obtain Colorado licensure through reciprocity within six months. Approximately 5+ years of progressive structural engineering experience . Experience designing residential and/or commercial structures. Working knowledge of applicable structural codes and standards. Experience with structural analysis/design software such as RISA 3D/2D, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent. Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage projects, priorities, schedules, and client expectations. Especially valuable, but not required: Previous Engineer of Record experience. Project management experience. Experience mentoring EIs or junior engineers. Colorado residential and/or commercial design experience. Experience developing and maintaining client relationships. Why RMG? Compensation Recommended salary range:
$105,000-$127,000 annually , depending on experience, licensure, technical capabilities, project management experience, and leadership responsibilities.

$105,000.00 - $127,000.00 per year
