Staff Project Engineer - Civil / Site & Land Development Washington, DC Metro Area (DC / Northern VA / MD) Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule $82,000 - $105,000 base + OT + EOY bonus + Full benefits About the Opportunity We're partnering with a well-established national engineering firm seeking a Project Engineer (2-7 years experience) to support their growing presence in the DC Metro area. This is an opportunity to join a firm with national resources, strong project backlog, and long-term stability, while working on a diverse mix of private development, public/municipal, and select international projects. What You'll Be Doing Design and support site/civil land development projects from concept through construction Prepare grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater management plans Assist with permitting and entitlement processes across DC, VA, and MD Contribute to projects including: Higher Education, Residential (single-family & multifamily), Commercial & Mixed-Use, Public/Municipal & International Work What We're Looking For 2-7 years of experience in civil/site land development Experience with: AutoCAD Civil 3D Grading, drainage, and utility design Stormwater management systems Familiarity with local jurisdictions (DC / Northern VA / MD) preferred EIT preferred; PE (Professional Engineer) a plus Strong communication and coordination skills Why This Role Stands Out Backed by a national firm with strong financial stability and resources Diverse project portfolio (private + public + international exposure) Clear growth path toward Project Manager / leadership / training programs Strong backlog of work in the DC Metro area Collaborative, mentorship-driven team If you're looking to grow your career with a nationally recognized firm while working on high-impact land development projects , apply today or reach out for a confidential conversation.
