Your key duties Support the development and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept to completion Perform structural analysis, design tasks, and calculations under supervision Participate in interdisciplinary project meetings and collaborate with design teams Assist in preparing technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation Support structural embodied carbon assessments and sustainability initiatives Contribute to site visits and help monitor construction progress Your skills and experience Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in structural, civil or architectural engineering with an emphasis on structures Relevant coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design, advanced reinforced concrete design Coursework in earthquake engineering is strongly preferred Revit and 3D modeling skills (Rhino, SketchUp, etc.) are a plus Demonstrated interest in the built environment and sustainable design Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team Candidates are encouraged to apply even if they don't meet all requirements What we offer Hourly rate of $24 to $34 per hour depending on level of education and geographic location Hybrid working & summer hours Connection to global network of experts on the forefront of industry initiatives Access to wide ranging learning and development opportunities Connect with colleagues and build your network through our Employee Resource Groups, including the Young Employees Forum, Diversity & Inclusion Forum, Women's Network, Wellness Committee, and Black at Buro Happold Ready for something a little less ordinary?
