Essential Skills Direct, hands-on experience designing, reviewing, and sealing engineered drawings and calculations for temporary structures and access engineering projects. Demonstrated experience with temporary structures, including scaffold design, sidewalk bridges and fencing, construction hoists and personnel elevators, shoring systems, temporary works engineering, or construction engineering. Comfort and readiness to stamp and take full responsibility for temporary structure designs from the first day in the role. Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program; master's degree or equivalent advanced education. Ability to perform and check complex structural calculations, including nodal and finite element analysis. Proficiency in creating and approving engineering calculators and tools used for scaffold and temporary works design. Strong proficiency with advanced CAD and 3D modeling tools, including Revit, for drafting projects of intermediate complexity or higher. Full working knowledge of applicable regulations, codes, and standards governing structural and temporary works engineering. Ability to review and gather all necessary information for scaffold and temporary structure design projects. Capability to conduct site inspections to verify conditions and support safe implementation of designs.
