Job Description

Our client in Lake Mary, FL is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Environmental Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing structural analyses, stress calculations, and design verification to ensure our products and installations meet customer, safety, and regulatory requirements. This is a 12 month contract. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Fabrication teams, you will support projects from proposal through execution by delivering practical, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Perform structural calculations, stress analyses, and design verification. Develop and review structural concepts during proposal and project execution phases. Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation. Support Sales Engineers with technical reviews and customer inquiries. Transfer technical requirements and calculation results to project teams. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and fabrication partners on technical solutions. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications. Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practices. What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. 3-5 years of experience in structural steel manufacturing, heavy industry, or a related engineering environment. Experience with structural analysis software such as Ansys, STAAD, or equivalent. Proficiency in Inventor or similar 3D design software. Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, fabrication methods, and relevant industry codes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay:
$70.00 - $75.00 per hour
