Salary:
Starting at $90,000-$150,000 annually based on experience Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Structural Engineer to join our team.
Required Qualifications Software Mastery:
Exceptional proficiency in Autodesk Revit (ability to build complex structural families, manage templates, and troubleshoot models independently). Remote position but must be located within a 3-hour driving distance of Winston-Salem, North Carolina , for bi-weekly in-person meetings. Weekly meetings will be expected during the training period. Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, building codes, and industry standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to independently review engineering documents and provide technical guidance.
Primary Responsibilities Revit Modeling & Drafting:
Utilize advanced Revit skills to develop detailed 3D structural models, construction documents, and framing plans.
Engineering Design & Analysis:
Perform structural evaluations, load calculations, and technical analyses under the guidance of a licensed PE/SE.
Project Support:
Assist in reviewing site-specific structural projects to ensure compliance with building codes and project criteria.
Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, draftsmen, and senior engineers
Documentation:
Maintain accurate, organized engineering calculation packages and project records. Preferred Qualifications Prior internship or professional experience drafting/designing residential, commercial, industrial, or utility-related structures. Familiarity with national building codes. Proficiency with structural analysis and engineering software. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project reviews simultaneously. Compensation & Benefits Starting salary: $90,000-$150,000 per year based on experience Benefits package (health and 401k) Start Date October 2026
