Garden Grove, CA (with travel to LA, Orange County, and San Diego job sites) About Us PFR is a fast-growing structural repair contractor specializing in foundation repair for water-damaged structures, with expanding service lines in retaining walls and commercial waterproofing. The Role We're looking for a newly licensed Structural Engineer (PE) to join our team in a fractional/flexible capacity. No experience necessary — this is a great opportunity for an early-career PE who wants hands-on, practical experience beyond the standard design office. You'll learn our proprietary repair methods directly from the team that developed them. What You'll Do
  • Review and stamp structural plans for commercial and retaining wall projects
  • Conduct site assessments and structural evaluations across LA, Orange County, and San Diego
  • Learn and apply PFR's specialized foundation and structural repair methodologies
  • Collaborate with our commercial division on parking structures, subgrade water issues, and related structural work
  • Grow into a larger role as our commercial and retaining wall divisions expand What We're Looking For
  • Active PE license in California (required)
  • No prior experience necessary — we'll train you in our repair methods
  • Strong interest in learning practical, field-based structural work (not just design)
  • Self-starter who's comfortable with a flexible, fractional schedule
  • Reliable transportation for site visits across Southern California Why PFR
