Job Description
Structural Engineer Job Description We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join our team. You will play a crucial role in the design and preparation of construction documents for new design projects. Your expertise in AutoCAD and Revit will be essential for structural detailing and calculations. Additionally, you will perform code reviews to ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and standards. Responsibilities Lead overall design and preparation of construction documents for new design projects. Perform structural detailing and calculations using AutoCAD and Revit. Conduct code reviews to ensure projects meet local codes, regulations, and standards. Collaborate with other engineers and architects on various projects. Utilize your experience in concrete or steel for large commercial projects. Manage projects effectively, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals. Essential Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Strong structural design and analysis skills. Experience with structural engineering for concrete and steel projects. Ability to create detailed construction documents. 5+ years of relevant experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Pursuing professional registration. Experience in project management is a plus. Work Environment Our work environment is very collaborative, with the opportunity to work with other engineers and architects on projects. We offer a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office per week and the flexibility to work remotely for part of the week after a 4-week training period. Our office is located in Waltham, MA. We pride ourselves on our flexible working hours, allowing you to come in earlier and leave earlier if needed.
