Structural Engineer Job Description We are seeking a passionate and driven Structural Engineer to take ownership of the design and execution of impactful civil and structural engineering projects within the industrial sector. Responsibilities Lead the design and analysis of complex structural systems for large-scale industrial projects. Develop complete structural design packages, including calculations, drawings, and specifications, ensuring safety, performance, and code compliance. Design and detail critical structural components such as foundations and supporting systems for industrial facilities. Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create, review, and coordinate detailed structural models and drawings across multidisciplinary teams. Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges and drive optimized, practical design solutions. Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to align designs with project goals, timelines, and budgets. Review and refine design documents to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and project teams to resolve issues and support successful project delivery. Essential Skills 2-6+ years of experience in structural engineering. Proven experience designing structural systems for industrial projects, including foundations and related components. Strong command of structural analysis, design principles, and engineering best practices. Hands-on experience with Revit for structural modeling and documentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing and modifying structural drawings. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Ability to apply sound engineering judgment to complex design challenges. Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working on multidisciplinary projects and collaborating across engineering teams. Strong ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactive problem-solver with a solutions-oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement. Work Environment This role offers a flexible hybrid work model, combining the benefits of remote work with in-person collaboration. After an initial onboarding period, you can expect to work in the office 2-3 days per week, fostering strong team connections while maintaining flexibility. You will work in a professional, collaborative environment using industry-leading tools such as Revit and AutoCAD to bring complex designs to life. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duluth, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
