Full-Time About Us We are a growing structural engineering firm focused on delivering high-quality structural design and consulting services for a variety of residential and commercial projects. Our team values collaboration, innovation, and practical problem-solving, and we are looking for a motivated Structural Engineering EIT to grow with our company. Position Overview We are seeking a Structural Engineering EIT with 2-3 years of experience in the structural engineering field. This position offers exposure to both office and field work, including structural design, drafting/modeling coordination, and periodic construction site visits. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering and a strong interest in structural analysis and building design. Most work may be performed remotely; however, candidates must reside in the San Antonio area due to required field visits and coordination meetings. Responsibilities Assist with structural analysis and design for residential and commercial projects Prepare project documentation, structural calculations, and reports Handle construction administration phase for all projects (site visits, review shop drawings, RFIs.) Generate field reports and coordinate with contractors and project teams Assist with drafting and modeling coordination using Revit Collaborate and assist engineers with technical tasks and project development Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering 2-3 years of structural engineering experience EIT certification preferred Familiarity with structural analysis and design software Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar drafting/modeling software is a plus Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills Requirements Must reside in or near San Antonio, Texas Valid driver's license required Reliable personal vehicle required for transportation to construction sites and meetings Reliable cell phone for communication and scheduling coordination Ability to perform site visits and walk active construction sites Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for short periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed during field visits What We Offer Hands-on experience with both design and field work Mentorship from licensed structural engineers Training and exposure to real-world structural projects Flexible hybrid work schedule Opportunity for professional growth within an expanding company
