Structural Engineering Intern - Hiring Event with AECOM - Philadelphia
Internships at AECOM offer students in undergraduate and graduate programs the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering, design, and infrastructure projects that make a real-world impact. Interns work with cutting-edge technology, learn industry best practices, and collaborate with experienced professionals in a globally recognized firm. Additionally, AECOM's dedication to innovation and sustainability enables interns to contribute to meaningful projects that help shape communities and the built environment._This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027._
- AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Philadelphia on October 7-8, 2026.
- This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027.
- The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm,
- w you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You'll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.
- On Thursday, interviews will take place at our Philadelphia office.

- The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- + ing technical training to perform basic calculations, work well in a team setting and be willing to work diligently to learn new skills.
- Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- + Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or in another related field and must have completed at least 2 years of study.
Preferred Qualifications:
- + Some basic coursework in steel and concrete design. + Proficiency in MS Office Suite. + Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software. + Team oriented with strong communication skills. + Ability to manage time, deadlines, keep track of steps, and prioritize tasks.

- _To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment._
- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $22 to $27.
