Job Description:
Best suited for candidates graduating Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a major in civil engineering or construction management. Triad is seeking to hire two field engineers to join our growing teams in Charleston, SC and Cleveland, OH. Field engineers assist with project management by performing quantity takeoffs, surveying elevations on job sites, creating as-built drawings in AutoCAD, coordinating subcontractor services, maintaining project inventory, and completing tasks which enable the field staff to adhere to the project schedule. Field engineers are required to work onsite. Main Tasks Quantity Takeoffs Surveying AutoCAD Drafting Subcontractor Coordination Project Inventory Control Execution of Project Close Out Documents Maintenance of RFI Logs, Project Schedule, and Material Status Logs Purchase Orders Other Duties as Assigned Experience in the following will make candidates more competitive: EIT License AutoCAD Civil 3D Any drafting software Engineering surveying Construction field experience Coursework in construction engineering and practices Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing)
