ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Engineer supports the planning, design, and execution of utility infrastructure projects. Under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers, this role assists with engineering analyses, field inspections, project documentation, and coordination with internal teams and external partners. Assist in the design, analysis, and evaluation of utility systems (water & wastewater) Prepare technical drawings, engineering calculations, and project specifications under supervision. Support the development of cost estimates, material lists, and work plans. Review plans submitted by developers proposing to connect to the Utility's infrastructure. Ensure adherence to the Utility's requirements. Competencies Delivering High Quality WorkSupporting CoworkersCommunicating EffectivelySolving Complex ProblemsEducation Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringCertifications Driver's LicensePhysical Requirements Office and Field-Based RoleWork Experience 1-3 years of experience. Internship or coop experience in utilities, construction, or engineering (preferred but not required). Familiarity with utility operations or infrastructure systems is a plus.
