Civil Engineer - Land Development Position Overview We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 2-10 years of land development experience to support the planning, design, and permitting of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare site layout plans, grading plans, utility plans, and erosion and sediment control plans. Perform stormwater management, drainage, and site development design. Prepare construction documents, technical reports, and permit applications. Coordinate with architects, surveyors, engineers, clients, and regulatory agencies. Review zoning requirements, land development regulations, and applicable design standards. Assist with permitting, agency submissions, and responses to review comments. Support construction administration, site visits, and resolution of field issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. 2-10 years of civil engineering experience with a strong emphasis on land development. EIT certification or PE license preferred. Knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and site design. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred. Familiarity with local land development ordinances and permitting processes. Strong technical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
