Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects from inception to completion. Duties Develop, review, and manage detailed construction plans, schedules, and budgets using Primavera P6, Procore, and other construction management software tools. Coordinate project activities across multiple teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow throughout all phases of construction. Oversee the preparation and analysis of construction estimates using HeavyBid and other estimating software to ensure accurate cost forecasting. Monitor project progress through regular site visits, tracking key milestones with civil engineering project management software like Primavera P6 or similar tools. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations. Conduct analysis of Excel data for cost management, schedule adjustments, and resource allocation to optimize project performance. Collaborate on construction site safety protocols, quality assurance procedures, and compliance with industry standards to uphold safety and quality benchmarks. Qualifications Proven experience in construction project management with a strong background in civil engineering or related fields. Proficiency in construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or equivalent; experience with Microsoft Office suite including Excel data analysis is essential. Familiarity with construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or similar programs is highly desirable. Hands-on construction site experience coupled with knowledge of construction plans, contracts, and project coordination processes. Strong analysis skills for evaluating project data, schedules, and costs; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills. Experience using construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog or other industry-standard platforms for document control and communication. Knowledge of heavy civil or general construction industry practices; familiarity with civil engineering project management software is a plus.
