Job Description

OneSparQ is looking for Structural Engineer - Construction Administration for a growing structural engineering firm in Brentwood, TN.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary structural point of contact for architects, contractors, subcontractors, and owners during construction. Perform site visits and structural observations throughout all phases of construction to verify compliance with design drawings, specifications, and approved submittals. Review and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) and assist in resolving field-related issues. Attend project meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders to address construction challenges and maintain project progress. Evaluate field conditions and provide practical structural solutions that align with design intent and applicable codes. Document site observations and communicate findings to project teams. Support construction activities by reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and proposed design modifications.
Required Skills:
3+ years of experience in Structural Engineering and/or Construction Administration Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Experience working directly with contractors and subcontractors throughout various phases of construction Strong understanding of commercial, healthcare, and/or industrial building projects Experience with structural systems including concrete, steel, cast-in-place concrete, and precast concrete construction
Additional Skills:
Experience using Revit and/or Bluebeam #open
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
