This role involves preparing engineering drawings, reviewing construction plans, evaluating design requirements, coordinating with architects and construction teams, and ensuring proposed designs meet applicable building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Coordinate with architects, contractors, project managers, and other engineering professionals. Review construction plans to identify design conflicts, inconsistencies, or technical issues. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that construction activities follow approved designs. Provide technical guidance to field personnel and address design-related questions. Maintain accurate design records, calculations, drawings, and project documentation. Support quality assurance and help resolve technical issues during construction. Requirements Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, construction engineering, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in construction engineering, design, or project coordination is an asset. Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and building systems. Ability to interpret architectural plans, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Familiarity with applicable building codes, construction standards, and safety requirements. Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) and standard engineering software.
