Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer - III to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will lead complex structural design projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with building codes and regulations. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients to develop innovative structural solutions that meet project specifications and deadlines. Your expertise in structural analysis, project management, and technical documentation will be instrumental in delivering high-quality results across diverse construction types. Responsibilities Develop detailed structural designs for a variety of building types, including steel, concrete, masonry, and geotechnical systems, utilizing advanced CAD software such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D. Conduct comprehensive structural analysis using specialized tools like FEAs (Finite Element Analysis) to evaluate load capacities, stress distributions, and system stability. Manage project schedules effectively by coordinating design phases, resource allocation, and milestone tracking to ensure timely project delivery. Prepare precise technical reports, calculations, and construction documents adhering to building codes and industry standards while maintaining clarity for clients and construction teams. Review and interpret building code requirements and construction regulations to guarantee full compliance throughout all project stages. Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to facilitate integrated design workflows and improve collaboration among multidisciplinary teams. Communicate proactively with clients to understand their needs, present design proposals clearly, and incorporate feedback to optimize structural solutions. Experience Proven experience in developing structural designs for commercial, industrial, or residential projects with a focus on steel and concrete structures. Extensive knowledge of structural engineering practices including system design, structural analysis tools, and building code analysis. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Strong background in construction experience with familiarity in construction regulations, site safety protocols, and field inspections. Proficiency in CAD software such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation; familiarity with GIS applications like Civil 3D; experience with BIM tools is highly desirable. Skilled in technical writing for reports, specifications, and project documentation; excellent client communication skills are essential. Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and civil engineering fundamentals related to foundation design is a plus. $88,975.42 - $107,153.20 per year
