The team specializes in a wide range of civil infrastructure projects, including residential developments, commercial site design, and municipal infrastructure systems. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced licensed engineers on a wide variety of land development and infrastructure projects including residential, commercial, multi-family, municipal, and utility developments. The ideal candidate is a motivated engineering professional pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure and looking to expand their technical expertise, project coordination skills, and exposure to civil infrastructure design. Key Responsibilities Perform engineering calculations under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Engineer, including: Hydrology & hydraulics calculations Stormwater and detention pond design Storm sewer system calculations Water distribution system calculations Sanitary sewer system calculations Assist in the preparation and development of: Civil site layouts Infrastructure plans Grading and drainage plans Utility plans Erosion prevention and sediment control plans SWPPP documentation Construction specifications and permit applications Support the design and production of infrastructure projects including: Residential subdivisions Multi-family developments Commercial and industrial developments Roadway and utility infrastructure systems Coordinate with CAD Technicians and other engineering staff to develop project plans and deliverables Participate in due diligence studies, feasibility evaluations, and construction administration activities Review shop drawings, RFIs, and product submittals under the guidance of senior engineers Assist with project scheduling, municipal approvals, and coordination with clients, consultants, and governmental agencies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field 0-3 years of relevant civil engineering experience preferred Understanding of civil engineering principles related to land development and infrastructure design Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD software preferred Knowledge of stormwater, utility, and roadway design concepts Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, an excellent written and verbal communication abilities Work Environment & Expectations Competitive compensation package Professional development and mentorship PE licensure support and career growth opportunities Exposure to diverse and impactful infrastructure projects Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment
