Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pre-Engineered Metal Building Welder & Fitter to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, welding, and fitting structural components of pre-engineered metal buildings with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets strict quality standards, safety protocols, and engineering specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on building construction projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills to bring innovative structures to life. The position requires interpreting complex blueprints and ensuring the structural integrity of the finished product. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble metal components Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) welding on sheet metal and structural steel according to ASME codes & standards Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials Measure dimensions with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure exact fit-up of components Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety guidelines at all times Safely operate a range of machinery, including welding equipment, grinders, hoists, and forklifts, to move and manipulate materials Familiarity with ASME codes & standards governing structural welding and fabrication processes Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure that projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule Join us in building the future!
