In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, analyzing, and managing structural designs for a variety of construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that all structures meet safety standards, building codes, and client specifications while adhering to project timelines. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive structural designs for buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects using advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D. Conduct detailed structural analysis employing tools like Mathcad, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and other structural engineering practices to ensure design integrity. Perform building code analysis and ensure all designs comply with local construction regulations and safety standards. Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to create accurate 3D models that facilitate coordination among project stakeholders. Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Conduct geotechnical engineering assessments and integrate geotechnical data into system design for foundation stability. Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation to support project proposals, construction phases, and regulatory approvals. Skills Strong proficiency in project scheduling, project management, and technical writing to keep projects on track and well-documented. Expertise in structural analysis tools such as FEA software, Mathcad, Revit, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and CAD software including AutoCAD. Extensive experience in developing structural designs for steel, concrete, masonry, and other building materials with a focus on safety and code compliance. Knowledge of construction regulations, building codes, and standards related to civil engineering practices across various jurisdictions. Hands-on construction experience combined with skills in system design to ensure practical implementation of structural solutions. Ability to communicate effectively with clients through clear documentation and professional interaction throughout the project lifecycle. Familiarity with GIS applications for site analysis and geotechnical engineering insights that influence structural planning.
