Position Summary The Civil / Structural Engineer I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the design and engineering of foundations, structures, and site development across multiple project phases, including pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design. This role contributes to both grassroots and brownfield/revamp projects within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. Working under supervision, the position provides exposure to structural design, 3D modeling, site planning, and procurement activities, while developing foundational engineering skills and industry knowledge. Key Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities Support design and engineering of: Equipment foundations Pipe racks Process structures Site preparation works Assist with static and dynamic structural design calculations Contribute to projects including: Grassroots developments Brownfield modifications Revamp projects Prepare engineering deliverables, including: Site plot plans General arrangement drawings Site preparation drawings Participate in development and use of 3D CAD models Support development and maintenance of specifications for: Civil Structural Architectural Site preparation works Assist with procurement activities, including: Structural steel Subcontractors (soil investigation, surveys, underground utilities) Interface with vendors during fabrication and installation Provide field engineering support during: Engineering phases Construction Startup Support additional studies and initiatives, including: Digitalization Digital twin development Value engineering Leadership / Management Responsibilities Work under supervision of senior engineers and engineering manager Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams Participate in learning and development activities Compliance / Operational Responsibilities Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures Maintain accuracy and quality of engineering deliverables Support adherence to project schedules and requirements Ensure alignment with safety, operational, and maintenance considerations Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program Minimum GPA of 3.5 03 years of relevant experience (more experienced candidates may be considered) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills Preferred Qualifications Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification Internship or co-op experience in civil/structural engineering Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., PIP specifications) Role Specific Knowledge & Skills Basic understanding of structural and civil engineering principles Ability to perform fundamental engineering calculations Familiarity with engineering drawings and structural layouts Exposure to 2D/3D CAD tools and modeling environments Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively in team-based environments Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise Working Conditions Occasional travel to project sites Exposure to construction and industrial environments Additional Information No sponsorship or relocation assistance available.
