1 Year with extension potential Top Features $35•38 per hour $175 per day in per diem Large-scale data center construction project Hands-on exposure to project management and field operations Opportunity to build mission-critical construction experience The Opportunity We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support a large-scale data center construction project in Turkey, Texas . This position is ideal for an organized construction or engineering professional who can keep technical documentation, schedules, materials, and project information moving between project managers, superintendents, field teams, vendors, and subcontractors. You will work closely with project and field leadership throughout construction, helping coordinate documentation, track project deliverables, support procurement and project controls, and identify potential issues before they affect the schedule. Previous data center or mission-critical construction experience is preferred but not required. What You'll Do Support project managers and field leadership with the daily coordination of data center construction activities. Maintain project drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, schedules, correspondence, meeting documentation, and other project records. Coordinate RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, and technical information with project stakeholders. Track project schedules, milestones, action items, procurement activities, materials, and outstanding deliverables. Coordinate information between project managers, superintendents, field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and other project partners. Assist with material and equipment tracking and communicate potential procurement or delivery concerns. Support cost tracking, change documentation, forecasting, reporting, and other project-controls activities. Prepare project updates, logs, meeting materials, reports, and supporting documentation. Review project information for accuracy and completeness. Identify missing information, conflicts, and potential coordination issues. Communicate schedule, cost, material, and documentation concerns to project leadership. Help ensure project action items and deliverables are completed on time. What You Bring Previous experience in construction, engineering, project coordination, or a related project-based role. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work effectively with project managers, superintendents, field personnel, vendors, and subcontractors. Ability to read, understand, and work with technical construction information. Experience maintaining project documentation, schedules, procurement logs, cost reports, or project controls is preferred. Experience with RFIs, submittals, drawings, change documentation, and material tracking is preferred. Data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large commercial construction experience is a plus but not required. Why Join This Project? Pay:
$35.00•$38.00 per hour Expected hours: 58.0 per week
