Job Description

Job Overview Looking to add a TX licensed engineer to our inspection engineering practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Looking for the right Texas-licensed PE to become an equity partner and eventually co-own the business. This could be a strong fit for: an engineer burned out in corporate environment a PE who wants more income upside someone already running a small solo practice who wants a larger client base and would like to add services an experienced engineer who enjoys people as much as technical work I'm specifically looking for an engineer who: enjoys working directly with clients is comfortable spending time in the field communicates well one-on-one has entrepreneurial interest and eventually wants ownership rather than just a paycheck The practice is already established with: more work than we can handle existing systems and efficient processes very strong reputation and online presence immediate minority ownership opportunity significant growth potential The work primarily involves evaluations of buildings and developing repair plans. Work is throughout the DFW area. The role is field-oriented and client-facing rather than desk/CAD-heavy.
Ideal background:
Texas PE license required or ready to apply (comity with another state or passed exam) Civil or Structural background preferred, but not required Comfortable explaining technical issues to building owners and tradepersons Self-directed and practical Demonstrated ability in project management Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and technical writing Experience designing retaining walls is desirable, but not required Confidential conversations are welcome. Pay:
$85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
