Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid/Senior Level, Licensed Civil/Structural Engineer to be part of our team in Gregory, TX. Job Responsibilities Civil/Structural Engineering scope of work on a wide range of projects, including experience with foundations and large pours Perform structural assessment of existing structures and gather information Analyze project challenges and take appropriate actions to ensure the project meets client expectations and the work is completed within established budget and schedule Develop engineering concepts and coordinate closely with design team Review design drawings and confirm that constructability has been maintained Develop requisitions for construction materials, field work packages, and coordination with vendors and/or equipment manufacturers Coordination of design and engineering efforts being executed in our high value engineering center Coordination and interfacing with other discipline groups in the development of projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (emphasis on structural design) CA License Preferred Mid Level - 5-15 years of experience. Senior Level - 15+ years of experience Familiarity with civil/structural codes and standards (ASCE, AISC, ACI, OSHA) Good communication skills (active listening, verbal, and written) Work well in a Team environment Be able to work full time in office Strong engineering judgment and decision making skills Experience with structural analysis and design software Experience with CAD and 3D modeling software Strong understanding of technical information typical of the industrial engineering sector Open to learning new information and new work strategies Open to thinking outside the box and finding innovative solutions Work Environment This position is performed in a client facility in Gregory, TX. The employee will need to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and through email. The employee should be physically able to carry out the required tasks.
