Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction | Houston, TX About the Opportunity A highly respected, $250M family-owned heavy civil contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of major TxDOT and municipal infrastructure projects across Houston and South Texas. Qualifications 3+ years of heavy civil construction experience Experience working on TxDOT or municipal infrastructure projects preferred Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred Strong understanding of heavy civil construction operations including roadway, paving, utilities, bridges, or structures Experience supporting project controls, scheduling, forecasting, and cost tracking Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a motivated and team-oriented construction professional with experience supporting large-scale heavy civil infrastructure projects and a strong desire to continue developing within the TxDOT and municipal construction market.
